Brief Answer:
Your HIV risk is negligible

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to ASK A DOCTOR through HCM.
Thanks for posting your query.
HIV is a highly fragile virus. It will not be viable outside the body fluids not more than few seconds. Medicine is not mathematics to get constant answer. When the thin film of blood stain over the stapler pin got dried and the cellular contents in this blood film died the HIV cannot survive anymore as these virus need living cells to thrive.
Not to worry much.
