Brief Answer:
no known interactions, can be used together

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

There is no interaction between these two medications they can be safely used together.
You should note that hydrochlorothiazide has been known to increase uric acid level and it is one of the medications that can sometimes lead to gouty arthritis.

Allopurinol is not commonly used to treat the flares , it is most commonly used in chronic (long term) gout to reduce flares.

Acute gout flare ups are commonly treated with NSAIDs (eg naproxen, ibuprofen, indomethacin or voltaren), colchicine or steroids (some cases into the joint).

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions

Brief Answer:
no interactions but the water pill increases uric acid

Detailed Answer:
HI

Okay the allopurinol is to decrease the uric acid not the treat any pain that you may be experiencing.

In terms of the hydrochlorothiazide/water pill, I think it would be best, since this medication increases uric acid, that you consider speaking to your doctor about it.
It can be playing a role in the uric acid level.

The two of these medications do not interact so they can be safely used together, the problem is the diuretic/water pill can increase the uric acid

Please feel free to ask anything else
