Brief Answer:
B-Long Pyridoxine sustained release tablets (not B-Long) can be taken

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. Tuberculosis and its medication is frequently associated with a reduction in the Pyridoxine or B6 level and therefore it is essential to take Benadon (Pyridoxine Hydrochloride) supplementation. Benadon contains 40mg but B-Long does not contain that much. However, B-Long Pyridoxine sustained release tablets are available and can be taken as an alternative. In that case you can stop Benadon.

Let me know if I could help further.

Brief Answer:
The gastritis is not due to this vitamin

Detailed Answer:
Sorry for the inadvertent delay in responding. Yes, it is essential to take B-Long Pyridoxine or Benadon. Could you tell me the reason for which you want to stop it? I do not think that the morning nausea is due to to this medicine. The antitubercular drugs are hazardous ones and are known to cause gastritis. This gastritis is the cause of your nausea and vomiting. Stopping B-Long Pyridoxine or Benadon will not provide you relief.

In order to relieve yourself, you need to do the following:
* Avoid spicy food. Take small but frequent meals. Avoid long gaps between meals.
* Avoid alcohol intake (if it a part of your habit).
* Take Prilosec (omeprazole) once daily before breakfast.
* Take plenty of green leafy vegetables as well as other sources of dietary fibers. Take fiber supplements like isabgol/psyllium husk or senna. I would insist you to increase your dietary fiber intake.
* Regular morning walk and exercise to keep the bowel movements proper.
* Take curd or yogurt on daily basis. It contains beneficial bacteria and should help.
* Stress reduction has a very important role to play. Yoga and meditation should help.

Hopefully that should help.

Let me know if I could help further.

Thank you doctor for your response and suggestions.
I am diabetic also, during morning nausea my sugar levels will go high.
When doctor stopped benadon, I was fine again they replaced by B long. After taking B long for 8 days, I was fine, but now again vomiting started in the morning, still I am taking B long.
Not sure what's happening, please suggest.

Brief Answer:
Pyridoxine supplementation is essential.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back. Try the measures that I have suggested and see if that helps. You need to regularly take medication to keep the blood sugar level in control. Your doctor can make suitable adjustments in doses.

As regards the pyridoxine supplementation, going through the following should enlighten you:
