Question : hello doctor, i have twin babies and now my single liquor pocket for fetas 1 is 3 cm and 2nd is 2.7 cm. and foetal weight is 1.1 - 1.3 for 31 weeks 5 days and advised to take betnesol. My doubt is if take betnesol it may cause preterm birth? and in my above condition am i likely to be giving preterm birth? is there any other ways or medicine to improve amniotic liquid. my doc told me that fetal growth is slow. please help me. Thanks.

Can you please upload the ultrasound scan report that has made you so worried ?
Also, is this your first pregnancy?
Is this a natural conception or aided with medications or procedures?
So far have all the scans been normal - if possible, upload all earlier scans also.
Do you have hypertension, diabetes or any other risk factor ?
Are you having any symptoms suggestive of preterm labour.
What is the date of your last menstrual period, and how many weeks pregnant are you?
When has your doctor asked you to take Betnesol?

thanks doctor, Yes this is my first pregnancy and natural conception. the scan reports since starting upto this was normal. no history of hyper tension, diabetes and other risks. my first day of last period was nov 6th 2013 and expected delivery date aug 13 2014. previously, i am having single umbilical cord for one of the twins, so advised to take ecosprin and argigest for better flow of liquids to babies. now today is my 31 weeks and 5th day and i have taken the scan today that worrying me and went to the doctor, and advised to take betnesol tomorrow and day after. my doc said that after observing further scan on this friday 20 XXXXXXX 2014, weather recommended for c section next week or prolong the duration.

i dont have the scan facility at the moment and i will update it later on. but please refer the details of todays scan,
fetus 1 BPD 6.9CM HC262MM AC237MM FEMER5.6CM HEARTRATE 158BPM
fetus 2 BPD 6.9CM HC267MM AC236MM FEMER5.7CM HEARTRATE 157BPM

liquor reduced fetus 1 single liquor pocket 3cm and fetus 2 is 2.7cm.

fetal weight 1.1 - 1.3 kg each. 31 weeks 5 days as on 16 XXXXXXX 2014. please advice me.
