Ciprofloxacin can cause drowsiness. So it is better to avoid alcohol while taking ciprofloaxacin as alcohol may worsen the drowsiness.

Some of the other side effects of ciprofloxacin are -
1. Diarrhea
2. Headache
3. Nausea/Vomiting
4. Anxiety
5. Sleeplessness
