Brief Answer:
Clarithromycin is not commonly used for Bell palsy.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

Drugs used to treat Bell palsy include corticosteroids ( prednisolone for example ) and antiviral drugs ( acyclovir for example ),

Clarithromycin is not commonly used to treat Bell palsy, unless there is clear evidence of a bacterial infection ( mastoiditis for example ) that may be responsible for the Bell palsy too.

Discuss with your Doctor about these issues.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Take care.
