Brief Answer: Can Cause. I need more details. Detailed Answer: Dear Friend. Hi , I am Dr Anshul Varshney , I have read your query in detail , I understand your concern . Yes, Zyrtech D and Coenzyme Q10 may cause faster heart rate in few people. Even large doses of green tea can also cause that. Moreover, you don't know how pure is your green tea extract!! But, since you are just 18 years, it should be given a consideration. First of all, normal heart rate is between 60-100 Beats per minute. Your's is on the higher side. I need to know following details to help you better: 1. Are you suffering from any cough, cold and fever as you are taking Zyrtech D? This is significant as any infection, even just a viral can cause fever which can cause fast heart rate. 2. Since when are you having it? 3. What problem you had, that made you notice / check your pulse rate? 4. Any other medical history? 5. Any history of any thyroid disorder? 6. Any weight loss? Any anxiety? 7. Do you have palpitations? 8. Any history of consumption of excessive Coffee? Or even green tea in excess amount? This is my personal opinion based on details available here. Reply with these preferably in point wise manner for a better help. Stay Healthy. Dr Anshul Varshney , MD

I took the Zyrtech D for seasonal allergies and the other supplements to help with anxiety but i noticed a change this morning because my chest felt tight and full or pressure right in the center and noticed my heart was beating faster and i took all three this morning

Brief Answer: I need details. Detailed Answer: Dear Friend. You have not replied to several of my questions. In order to help you my best, i need proper history. As i am not communicating in person with you, i can not examine you. So please give me with the details, i have asked. If you have season allergies, and you had acute chest congestion as you have mentioned, a slight tachycardia (increase in heart rate) can be due to that. So, that would get fine as your acute episode would subside. Also, check your resting heart rate now and tell me what it is. Do count it for whole 1 minute and let me know. Stay Healthy.
