Brief Answer:
Few measures along with oral decongestant will be helpful

Detailed Answer:
Hi fxxxxxxxx
Coricidin contains acetaminophen and chlorpheniramine.

Fast changes in altitude cause air pressure changes in the ear and can trigger this ear pain .
Few measures that will be helpful kindly follow them

1. Yawning and swallowing during ascent and descent. You can suck on candy or chewing gum to help you swallow. This will help in keeping your eustachian tube open.
2. Valsalva maneuver during ascent and descent. For the procedure you can watch the YouTube videos.
3. You can try filtered ear plugs, you can get them at local drug stores
4. Oral decongestants will be helpful if taken 30 minutes to an hour before an airplane flight.
5. Avoid changes in altitude when you have cold, sinusitis or ear problems.
Hope this helps
Take care
