Digoxin isn't associated with palpitations. ..

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking!
I read your query very carefully.

Digoxin use isn't associated with heart beats (palpitations).

Digoxin is used in patients with heart failure and atrial fibrillation to control heart rate and to make the quality of life in this patients and wouldn't put any strain on cardiac muscle.

Brief Answer:
Your wife may have arrhythmias which are felt as heart beats...

Detailed Answer:
Hi back,

You are saying that your wife is feeling her heart pumping. This may happen due to cardiac arrhythmias. Your wife has had supraventricular arrhythmias in the past; also she may have also ventricular arrhythmia due to hart failure. Cardiac arrhythmias are felted by the patient as heart beating or palpitation.

If she was my patient I would suggest doing a holter monitoring to exclude life threatening arrhythmias (such as ventricular tachycardia) and to find out the exact cause of her complaints.

Wish you and your wife health!

Brief Answer:
It all depends on what type of arrhythmias has your wife?

Detailed Answer:
Hi back,

In your wife case cardiac arrhythmias are more likely a consequence of cardiac disease and can cause little or no damage to the heart. However it all depends on what type of arrhythmias has your wife?

This is why I strongly recommend doing the Holter monitoring. Once we find out the exact arrhythmia than we can give the right answer to your queries

Wish you and your wife health!

Brief Answer:
It's normal symptoms typical for anxiety...

Detailed Answer:
Hi back,

You shouldn't worry all that has happened with your wife is normal. Chronic disease, especially heart failure is associated with anxiety disorders and depression.

Anxiety anddepression are manifested with lost energy, sleep disorder (sleep to much or insomnia) and mood disorders.

If this symptoms persist I recommend contacting a psychologist to deal with anxiety and depression.

Wish you and your wife health!

Detailed Answer:
Hi back,

One of the major side effects of Crestor is memory loss especially shoYour wife is taking the maximal dose of crestor and this increase the risk for side effects.

My advice is to reduce the dose of Crestor to half the actual dose and see if this help with memory loss.

Wish you and your wife health!
