Question : I had my embryo transfer on 21st march. since then a I am on fertigyn 2000 once in three days. (21; 24; 27; 30). on 31st march my beta is around 167.8 Is this a positive level?

Hi,

I read your query and I understand your concerns about beta hCG results.

Following is my reply:

1) Congratulations. You are pregnant.

2) Since you have taken Inj. Fertigyn, this can give false positive result sometimes.

3) You have to repeat this test after 2 days to see the rise which should double after 48 hours.

4) Please repeat serum beta hCG blood test on April 2nd and let me know the result.

5) Let me know which IVF centre and doctor has done the procedure.
