Question : does flomax have any effect on gout I have been taking flomax & I just developed gout

I also take a multi-vitamin and Nitrofurantoin (100 MG) every other day

Arthralgia is a recognized side effect.

Hello,
Welcome and thanks for your query.
Arthralgia ( pain in the joints) is a well recognized side effect of Flomax and may occur in upto 1 in 10 people on it.
Nitrofurantoin also can produce joint pains in a less number of people.
You can take a NSAID like ibuprofen or colchicine for pain relief and also have a blood uric acid done. If it is high, you may require medicines to lower that as well.
