This combination is not recommended;

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for asking!

Once you start insulin, Glimepiride is recommended to be discontinued, first: because you are taking insulin from outside, there is no need to stimulate pancreas with Glimepiride.

Secondly: the risk for hypoglycemia is greater with insulin and Glimepiride.

Metformin and insulin, yes, especially if the patient is overweight.
