Question : Once HPV goes away on it's own, does that mean it's completely gone?

I understand your concern.
Normally body immune system helps in clearing Human papilloma virus by itself with in 1-2 yrs.
HPV virus can't be eliminated completely. Regular follow-up with your physician is mandatory.
