Question: How many hydrocodone pills can I take before truly overdosing? I took 2 about 2 hours ago and just took another one now. I am in excruciating pain from a scalding burn.

Brief Answer:
no more than 60 mg of maximum dose

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

i read your question and i understand your concern. Hydrocodone comes in different dosages, 2.5 mg , 5 mg and 10 mg of hydrocodone with acetaminophen mixed . One should not take more than 60 mg of hydrocodone in 24 hours as above that is overdosage. Use of topical anesthetics and pain killers creams will help with the burns. COmpliant use of dressing to keep the burn site clean and aseptic will help the quick recovery. Let your doctor decide what is best for you.

I hope it helps. take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.

Khan
