Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking!
I read your query and understood your concerns.

Usually patients with IBS aren't associated with any serious blood conditions. This is why if there's any serious blood conditions the doctor should look after more serious gastrointestinal problems.

This is why if you were my patients I would recommend doing the following examinations to definitely confirm the diagnosis of IBS (and to exclude more serious gastrointestinal problems):
- Blood work
- Stool test (including occult blood test, ova parasites etc.)
- Abdominal echo and other imagery exams if needed (including abdominal CT and MRI)
- Upper endoscopy
- Colonoscopy

Yes people with blood problems (heamothobobis) usually have low energy levels. I would like to suggest the following lifestyles and dietary changes to improve his symptoms and increase his energy level:
- Eat often and in small portions
- Drink plenty of water
- Eat a Mediterranean diet reach in fresh fruits, vegetables and white meats
- Avoid consuming spicy food, beans, cabbage, lettuce etc.
- Quit smoking, caffeinated and energy drink
- Reduce alcohol intake to less than a glass of vine
- Increase physical activity
- Avoid unnecessary stress
- Use simeticone
- Use extra virgin olive oil

Hope this will be of help!
Wish you and your partner health!

Detailed Answer:
Hi back,

Once you have done all the above mentioned tests and examinations you don't need to repeat them very often. You may repeat these tests after five years.

The prognosis of people with haemothobobis depend on his medical data records. Can you upload your medical datas?

I'm waiting for your medical data!
