Does not affect osteoarthritis.

Lasix can aggravate the pain due to gouty arthritis. It does not affect osteoarthritis. It also does not affect age related degenerative osteoarthritis. However it can cause muscle cramps and muscle pains. Do take adequate fluids while taking lasix on long term basis.
