Question : My daughter is taking sertraline 100 mg, she also smokes a lot of pot and drinks alcohol, she has periods were she seems totally paranoid but manages to go to work and teach school that she love ok.

Although there could be many reasons for feeling paranoid but the cannabis is most likely cause for feeling period despite having occupational performance.

I have multiple number of patients who have the paranoid symptoms with use of cannabis. These same patients perform normally with stoppage of cannabis and I think if your daughter willing to quit pot, it must help you.
