default
Posted on Tue, 5 Apr 2016
Question: My mother is 90 years old & in good general health. She lives alone. She takes Altenalol 25mg. a.m & 12mg pm., Warfarin 2mg a.m and 1 or 2 mg. p.m., Diltiazem 240 mg. a.m., and Simvastatin 20mg. a.m.
She sometimes has trouble sleeping or after waking up to use the bathroom, she has trouble getting back to sleep. It was suggested that she take Melatonin 3mg. at bedtime. Are there any contraindications with her current medications?
