Does Methylphenidate Show Up As Amphetamine In A Drug Test?

Question: This is an emergency, iv been doing so good on probation and this is only my second relapse on meth since XXXXXXX 2nd of last year and im getting alot of mixed answers on weither alkaline or acidic urine gets it out faster. Iv already talked to my mom and im moving out of state because this town is poisen let alone the drug its self i have a drug test coming up this monday and im faceing 1-2 years for it and i can do this to my mom before mothers day please help i really screwed up but im grateful to have a supportive family. I have a presciption for methylphenidate and was wondering if it will just show up as a normal amphetamine by monday.

Yes exept my PO sends it to the lab to conform that its my script and not meth so my big question is how long does it take for my body to metabolize m-amph into normal amphetamine, i read that meth is excreated 20% unchanged meth but not for how long, any suggestions and what i should drink and eat to maintain a good PH and is amphetamines the only drug affected my PH? Im in quite the prediciment in witch i got myself into but i still like to know things about medications. My entire family is in the medical feild so i need to get my shit togather and do somthing with my life and 1-2 years in DYC does not sound like the way to do it expeacially with a honestly stupid felonly. Sorry for the long message i just figures i payed 18 and don't want to agian. Thank you so much and i heard magnesium is good

Hi dear,

Whatever happened has happened. It is good that you realize your mistake and want to come back on good track.
Meth can be detected in urine up to 4 days after last intake. You can drink cranberry or other fruit juice to make urine acidic. Stop drinking such juice before 2 days of testing to avoid suspiciousness. No need of magnesium.

So no matter how far the motabolism process has gome buy its still possible to tell the differnce between adderall and methamphetamine, im going to the phycaitrist today and all im asking is if there is anything ADD/ADHD wise that has a history of showing up as meth i need an amswer quickluy im pulling up now

With normal urine testing differentiation between meth and amphetamine is not possible. With gas chromatography and mass spectrometry differentiation of adderall and methamphetamine is possible. Amphetamine cannot show positive for meth but meth can show positive for amphetamine. In conclusion your test result will depend upon on your last intake and the method of testing is going to be used for testing.
