Brief Answer:
You can continue the medicine

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

There are very few known side effects of Monteleukast. You can continue the medication without much worry.

You can give her plain montelukast on regular basis. Add cetrizine or loratidine when symptoms increase.

Avoid allergens like dust, pollen, pet's fur etc. Observe the child and try to find out the allergen so that it can be avoided. Consult you doctor for evaluation for sinusitis.

Regards
