Question : I had 4 glasses of champagne 2 hours ago. my question is would it be okay for me to take 1 Motrin 800(for my sore back) and 75mg of Benadryl(for my allergies)? I also take 20mg of lexapro 14 hours ago and 7.5mg of Buspar 11 hours ago.

Thanks for writing to us. I can understand your concern.

There is no drug interaction between motrin and alcohol. You can take it safely.

Benadryl itself is sedative. With alcohol there may be more sedation, otherwise no significant interactions between two. Do not drive and work with machines for at least 8 hours .

Lexapro and buspin have been taken before hours so not an issue with them.
