Question : Weeks ago I was give Nateglinide {60 mg} twice daily. My daily readings did not change. I am now taking 6 60 mg tabs and sugar readings are still over 200 in the AM. Prior to this I was on Glimepride 4 mg. this was doing fine but doctor said was too strong.

I would recommend to stop taking nateglinid as it seems not appropriate for you.
Before recommending to restart glimepirid it would be necessary to know the HbA1c level before changing the therapy.
