Question : does norvasc raise heart rate? my heart rate doesnt seem too fast if i miss a dose. right now my heart rate is runnin 99-103. when i miss norvasc it runs between 78-85

     Yes – swelling of feet and faster heart rate are well-known side effect of the drug, because of widening of the blood vessels. There is no need to change just because of this.

     Probably your doctor might have had a specific reason to start this… Follow up with him for any issues – he may change the class or add another like a beta-blocker, which has a tendency to reduce the rate
