Does Omeprazole Cause Sore Tongue?

Question: For the past 5 years I have had a sore tongue. My gp has prescribed various medications, none have worked. I suspect it may be caused by the omeprazole I take for acid reflux. Therefore I stopped the omeprazole a week ago. There is some improvement , although it has not disappeared but of course the acid reflux is back. Any help would be appreciated

Since you have been suffering from this since 5 years and you have visited many doctors, it is reasonable to assume that the doctors have evaluated your problem well.

However, it would help me greatly if you could upload all the test reports you have undergone and describe the sore tongue in detail, like, if it gets sore after eating anything in particular, or does it stay sore always, what makes it worse, and what relieves it.

Are there any other issues apart from soreness and reflux?

I would also request you to upload a picture or two of your tongue so that I can asses the situation better and guide you further accordingly.
