Stomach burning is not associated with ornida tablet.
Detailed Answer:
Hello Mr XXXXXXX
Welcome to health care magic,
Stomach burning is not associated with ornida tablet (Ornidazole an anti-microbial drug) rather it is sometimes useful in stomach burning due to acute gastritis of bacterial infections such as Helicobacter pylori.
Means one can have stomach burning sensations while using ornida tablet but it is not related to tablet itself.
Here, kindly let me know the reason why she has been prescribed Tab.Ornida.
Antacids like h2 blockers (ranitidine) or proton pump inhibitors (pantoprazole or rabeprazole) will help to reduce excess acid production in stomach and thus, will help to alleviate from stomach burning symptom.
She may also take digene gel or liquid or ulcero-protective agents like sucralfate or to reduce the burning sensation.
Hope this will help her.If there is any more query then just me know.
Regards,
Dr.Sandip Kabra
