Question : l have anxiety and IBS and Gilbert's syndrome. I have been taking following medication since last 20 years. Prozac daiy Alparozalm 0.5 mg 1 1 levosulphride 0.25mg 1 1 Inhibitol 1 daily I experience bloating which leads to nausea anxiety headaches. I have reduced levosulphride to once a day about a week back because I don't think it's helpful for my ibs (mostly constipstion). While bloated I get a sneeze which makes me feel better. please advise to reduce bloating and is tapering levosulphride a good idea?

Hello,
Have seen you details and I appreciate your concerns,
See as basic problem is constipation unless we treat it things would become fine.
When food remains in intestine it's acted upon by bad bacteria causing fermentation and release of toxic gases and hence patients complains of bloating.
I would suggest you to start taking a laxative like polyethylene glycol once daily and you would see relief in few days.
