Question : Dear Dr's i have an h pylori and my dr told me to take pylera medicine is it good and effective and does it have any serious side effects?

Hi and thank you for asking on HCM !

You are reporting to have H.Pylori positive.
With regards to pylera it is ised to treat H.pylori infection.

Pylera is a combination of antimicrobial drugs (bismuth subcitrate, metronidazole and tetracycline).

Bismuth subcitrate can stop the growth of bacteria while metronidazole and tetracycline killed bacteria like H.pylori.

It must be used together with PPI'S like omeprazole.
The mos common side effects of Pylera are:
-diarrhea
-stomach upset
- headache
-dissinezz
-Colored teeth
