Question : I was taking Registrone tablets. Had unprotected sex. Stopped taking it after that. But it's been nearly 48 hours now and I haven't had periods yet. Should I take an I-pill?

Regestrone tablets are taken for regulating menstrual cycles . They have no contraceptive effect.
Therefore, if you had unprotected intercourse, then it is advisable to take emergency contraception within 72 hours of the act to prevent any pregnancy.
