Question : Mother currently taking Quetiapine Fumarate for hemiballism condition. Should she discontinue taking Zolpiden tartrate 5/mg for sleep while on the above med?

Quetiapine can also cause sedation. If she is taking it at night and without taking Zolpidem she can sleep well, she can avoid Zolpidem.

However if she is not getting enough sleep without Zolpidem she can take it with quetiapine.
