Brief Answer: need to continue the tab. Detailed Answer: Dear XXXXXXX hi! i understand you are facing problems with hypothyroidism. bloating of stomach is a common feature of hypothyroidism. in 6 months time you have been able to bring down TSH to 3.4 from 4.6. so i suggest you should increase the dose to 50 mcg. keeping the target of TSH between 1-2 is a better idea. bloating of abdomen will improve once your thyroid is well balanced. still if it is really troubling you can take something like pantoperazole along with domperidone. to control weight or to reduce weight you must exercise daily and follow a strict diet regimen. you may be able to stop the medicine after few years may be. if you lose weight and your TPO antibodies are negative , may be , we can try withdrawing of the medicine.
