Question : Will diverticulitis or uti affect egg retreival for ivf ? what antibiotic is safe.

Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome.

UTI will not affect egg retreival at all and diverticulitis may have bad effect only if there is severe,untreated diverticulitis with colon perforation or abscess could lead to certain complications. Antibiotics that would cover both UTI and diverticulitis are ciprofloxacin and metronidazole and those wont interfere with IVF.
