Question : can 2 pill of 625 mg wilcol twice a day help or stop diarrhea

Wilcol is a drug used to lower cholesterol an also for better glycemic control of diabetes. It is not a drug used for diarrhea. In fact one of the side effect of this drug is to cause diarrhea

I HAVE HAD DIARRHEA SINCE 1-01-2015 AND HAVE NOT HAD ANY SUCESS IN GETTING THE DIARRHEA UNDER CONTROL. I ALSO TAKE 10 IMODIUM 2MG A DAY, I ALSO TAKE 150 MG EFFEXOR, 150 MG SEOQUEL. WILL ANY OF THESE CAUSE DIARRHER?
MY FOLLOW UP IS WILL 10 TABLETS OF 2MG IMODIUM OR 150 MG OF EFFEXOR, OR 150 MG OF SEROQUEL CAUSE DIARRHEA?

Hello

Thanks for getting back

Such high doses of Imodium is not recommended, I usually do not give more than 2 or 3 tablets a day.
Effexor is a discounted drug, please Aporoach your doctor for an alternative.
Seroquel does not help in reducing diarrhoea, only Imodium will help reduce diarrhoea

Hello

I am extremely sorry for the delay in my reply, there was a family emergency which I had to attend to.
Mirtazapine is known to cause constipation ( difficulty in passing stools) rather than diarrhea
