Thank you for the advice. I will check with the cardiologist.
Inconclusive report. Advised getting checked up by a Cardiologist.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I've reviewed her ECG recording. First of all, please don't take account of the printed report as they are machine generated and not necessarily accurate.
The ECG reading is mainly pointing towards cardiac conduction anomaly (the electrical conduction of the heart) along with a lot of premature beats (ectopics, to some extent they can be present in every other individual, but the severity should be assessed with a thorough clinical examination as well as a repeat ECG at first).
At this outset, I'd strongly suggest you take her to a Cardiologist for a thorough clinical examination and a few relevant investigations (Hemoglobin/PCV, Serum Electrolytes mainly: Sodium/Potassium/Calcium/Magnesium, along with Urea/Creatinine, Thyroid Function Test, lipid profile and a few others) in the first place. Management is mainly based on the findings.
Not to worry, treatment is based on the findings, please let me know if there are any further concerns.
Hope I have answered your query.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Arnab Banerjee, Critical Care Specialist
