Brief Answer:
Yes, bad posture can cause this.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your follow up question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.

You are mostly talking about pigeon chest.
In this breast bone protrudes forward and gives shape like pigeon.

Mostly it is due to bad posture, vertebral column deformity and congenital (since birth).
For the diagnosis you need to get done lateral X ray of chest.

If you can send me the image then it would be easy for me to identify the deformity.

Also let me know
1. Since how many days you have noticed it?
2. Is it from birth or childhood?

Please reply me answers of above asked questions, so that I can guide you better.

I will be happy to help you further.

Wish you good health.
Thanks.

I noticed back in Dec.'14. In that same year and month, my mammogram is normal. I don't have the whole chest protruding forward like a pigeon chest. Only a bump of the third chest bone like my acupuncturist told me.
I research online and read that if you have a curved spine, it affects everything attached to your spine. So it curves your ribcage as well. What is your opinion.

Yes, you are right. Spinal deformity can cause similar kind of breast bone deformity.
Mammogram is different thing. It is x ray of breast tissue. It will not tell about bone deformity or spinal deformity.
For confirmation, you need to get done x ray of thoracic spine AP (anteroposterior) and lateral view.
Also get done chest x ray lateral view.
