Question : Is it possible to have a fragment from an extracted wisdom tooth work its way out 20 years later?
Brief Answer:
small fragment should get resolved
Detailed Answer:
Hello
When did you get your wisdom tooth extracted?
Mostly if its a very small fragment and it left behind during extraction it gets resolved automatically.
but if it doesn't get resolved then it cannot stay for 20 years without making any discomfort.
Did you have trouble on that side of teeth during eating?
Did you have pain and swelling in that area during these years?
If you can upload the picture of the fragment or say more elaborately about it then it will be more helpful to come to an exact conclusion.
