Question : Hi, 3 days ago, on sunday, I "jarred" my shoulder oppening a bottle on a table (placing the bottle cap on the edge of the table and pushing down). I did it at a slightly twisted angle and slipt. I have had pain in the front of my shoulder and upper arm since this happened (so around three days). I have full range of movement but it is a bit un comfortable and feels weak.
my question is wheather I should seek further medical advice or if rest will be sufficient

Brief Answer:
Rest and Hot compresses suffice
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
You are very young male so most likely it will correct on its own.
Till then do not perform actions that hurts.
Rest the muscles that pain... Hot compressions over the painful areas quickly help heal.
L-carnitine supplements are available over the counter, if yes, please take them for a week. If unbearable pain you can rely on Ibuprofen i.e MOTRIN/ADVIL.
The above tips help.
