Question : I have a tonsilstone in one of my tonsils, according to my GP. It's not really bothering me, but I can't get it out because of my gag reflex and because of how deep it is. If it's not bothering me, do I need to get it out, or is there another way to get it out that doesn't involve gagging on things?
Brief Answer:
No treatment is required.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
If the tonsillar stone is not bothering you, then there is no need to remove it.
Np further treatment is required. The tonsillar stone will go away on its own.
If pain or discomfort develops or you notice increasing size of stone, follow up with an ENT specialist to get the stone removed.
Hope I have answered your query.
Take care
