Question : Hello doctor, Regarding my wife XXXXXXX had twin pregnancy but one fetus unable to survive post 9 weeks other is growing fine at 13 weeks now. Kindly suggest Should we continue with pregrancy What can be impact on healtheir baby and mother What all precautions do we need to carry out during the pregnanacy. Regards

Brief Answer: Yes Detailed Answer: Hi It is common for one of the fetus to loose life during initial part of pregnancy. This unviable fetus will cease to grow. Sometimes it even vanishes. I assure you not to worry about it and be relaxed as this will not affect growing fetus in anyway. There is no need to terminate this pregnancy. Let me know if you have any more questions.
