Does Absence Seizures Cause Sudden Loss Of Consciousness?

I am suffering from a mysterious disease. I suddenly become unconscious at any time and consequently there is no movement of my body but I am able to recognise everything from inside (can hear/listen). I have consulted all the well renowned hospitals and has undergone each and every test of nervous system but surprisingly all the reports have shown me to be completely normal.
This all is occuring from past one year. The frequency of my nearly dead state has kept on increasing since then.
I request you to kindly let me know the name of the disease with which I am suffering and remedial measures accordingly.
Regards
Navdeep
most likely Absence Seizures..
Detailed Answer:
Dear Navdeep(or is it XXXXXXX ?), welcome to HCM..
I've gone through your query and understand your concern..
Now from your history and description it's most likely Absence seizures, in which this exact state can be experienced and at the same time all other investigations should be in normal range except for EEG.. So have you undergone EEG yet ?
Mostly it is seen in children but in some cases it can be observed even in adults also..there are few other possibilities like syncopal disorders, carotid sinus hypersensitivity etc. but in those cases you're likely to experience complete black-out and not able hear things..
Please specify what all investigations have done already and their reports, you can simply upload them here in the reports section or alternatively you can simply e-mail them to YYYY@YYYY and keep the subject as ATTN:DR XXXXXXX and I'll receive them..
If possible please upload the details of the doctor's, whom have you seen yet and their prescriptions too so that I can take a detailed look in to it..
Awaiting your response..
Treatment and remedial measures depend entirely on the final diagnosis, so at first the diagnosis is needed to be established..
Take Care
Kind Regards
