Question : My son has been gagging very frequently mostly at night but today he is the worst he's been. The Pediatrician started him on 20mg omeprazole 3 days ago and that hasn't seemed to help at all. If this isn't reflux, what could it be? We are trying some homeopathic drinks that contain aloe, peppermint and chamomile. Any other suggestions?

This may be hiatal hernia and he should do gastroscopy or barium swallow test to rule this out. I don't think that alternative medicine can help.Wish you good health. Regards
