Brief Answer:
mild increase, non alcoholic fatty liver most common cause

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

ALT is a liver enzyme

The normal range of ALT at most labs is 5 to 56 but this can vary slightly from one lab to the next.

Your doctor may be sending you for additional liver function tests such as AST, Alkaline phosphatase, GGT, bilirubin, proteins, LDH.
These are some baseline tests but there are others.

AT 60, your value is only slightly above the normal upper limit and would be considered a mild increase, this means at this level, your liver is likely still working

The most common cause of slight increases in liver enzymes is NON alcoholic fatty liver disease.
This is fat build up in the liver that is NOT related to alcohol.s

The fat builds up and can cause the liver to be inflamed, this can eventually cause damage to the liver if it continues.
Treatment involves: (1) lifestyle changes in diet,
(2) increased activity,
(3)control of risk factors like cholesterol, high blood pressure, overweight/obesity and diabetes
(4)statins may also be needed

These changes can make a difference to the liver function

There are other common causes of increased liver enzymes such as:(1)alcohol use
(2)side effect of medication
(3)injury to the liver
(4)infection such as hepatitis

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
