Hello and welcome,

An otolaryngologist is another name for an ENT doctor (ear nose and throat). Depending on what you have available in the area near you, you can start with an otolaryngologist. They are generalists when it comes to problems with the ears, nose, and throat. They will have your hearing retested by an audiologist if it hasn't been retested in the past 1 year.

They may also refer you to someone more specialized in the ear, or if you have one in your area, you might want to see an otologist/neurotologist directly. This is a doctor that specialized specifically in ears and the nerve function that is involved in hearing.

I hope this information helps.
