Does An Upset Stomach With Diarrhea Indicate HIV?

Question: Hello. About two months ago i have my boyfriend unprotected oral sex. Shortly after I did i kept freaking out that i may have caught HIV because he isnt a virgin and i am. So he got tested for me a couple days after and all the results were negative. Right now i have a really bad stomach virus. For the past two mornings ive woken up throwing up and i have diarrhea. I am also rrally bloated and really tired, and my stomach hurts. Could i just have a stomach virus? Or HIV? Please help!

Referring to our earlier discussion, I think you are taking a lot of stress on yourself. The possibility of you having HIV is very low. It most likely a stomach virus from contaminated food that you have right now. This can also be precipitated by stress.

Eating healthy home cooked food is suggested with drinking plenty of water and fresh juices. If Your vomiting and diarrhea is persisting for more than 24 hours then you should consult your doctor and take medications to stop your symptoms.

Please avoid outside food which is spicy for some days.

As both of you have tested negative earlier, please do not worry. For peace of mind you can get tested for HIV once again at the end of 3 months.
