Question : This evening around 7pm I was cycling in a dark area when a bat hit me on the left side of my forehead and flew away immediately. There are no visible scratches or any pain. I visited a local physician and he said that no vaccine is required. Also, I washed my fave immediately with cold water and came home to wash with Savlon water. I need an opinion regarding any shots I need to take in such a case.
Brief Answer:
No need for vaccine
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I read your query and here is my advice.
If you are not having scratch or bite you don't require treatment or vaccine.
Just washing with soap and water is enough.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Thanks.

And just one more thing, like it was close to my eyes, but my eyes got closed instantly when it hit, and I didn't feel any pain or discomfort. So is it alright? It's just that this bat encounter incident strikes my mind suddenly out of nowhere and then I keep on thinking about it.
Brief Answer:
Nothing important
Detailed Answer:
I don't find this important and no need for any treatment
