Brief Answer:
Rabies vaccination indicated

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

Dear Brother,

Exposure of eye ( which is mucous membrane lining) with saliva of canine is considered as significant exposure( Category III exposure) and definitely needs Post exposure prophylactic vaccination irrespective of previous vaccination. As you have previously received vaccination you will require only 2 doses of vaccination. On the day of exposure and second dose 3 days later.

Even if the neighbors cat or dog is vaccinated, it does not provide absolute protection. So it is recommended to go for vaccination.

Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Brief Answer:
2 doses of vaccine required

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

You require two doses of vaccination which act as booster dose. For every fresh episode of exposure 2 doses of vaccination are required if an individual is previously fully vaccinated irrespective of duration from previous vaccination.
If you are planning tomorrow then the second dose can be 3 days after that.

Take care
