Brief Answer:
It seems to be due to the side effect of beetroot juice.

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX Hi

I can understand your concern.

Beetroot juice which is quite rich in various vitamins like folic acid, vitamin C & minerals like potassium, copper and manganese has a number of beneficial effects.

It has a powerful cleansing effect on the body. People with liver and kidney conditions should consume beet juice only in very small doses.
However, if it is consumed in large quantity it has a strong effect in the lower digestive tract thus increase the gut motility resulting in diarrhea as its side effect.
Regarding the beetroot discoloration of the stools, this is due to normal pigments of the juice, and does not indicate any problem with the digestion of liver disease.
To avoid this side effect of diarrhea, you only use juice made from ½ a beet for the first week, then you can ease into using 1 medium sized beet combined with other vegetables or apples.

The carrot juice is relatively safe, its use is not associated with such side effects.
Hope this could answer your query.
