Brief Answer:
with the sugar levels, baby may not develop defects

Detailed Answer:
Hi, I had gone through your query and understood your concerns.

Mam, The blood sugar levels you have mentioned are slightly higher to normal.
HbA1c value could be the better indicator to check the control of sugar levels. But With these values, the baby might not develop any birth defects by now. Any way get foetal echo cardiogram done which gives clear details.

Most women like you who develop diabetes during pregnancy go on to have healthy babies. Dietary changes and exercise are necessay to keep your blood sugar levels under control along with medication.

It's important to keep your blood sugar levels in check because poorly controlled diabetes can have serious short and long-term consequences for you and your baby. Take low fat and sugar, high fibre diet.

Hope this guides you. For any other queries you can write to us. we will be happy to help you. Thank you.
