Question : I was picked for a random drug screen at work and was wondering if I have and concerns with my diabetes medicine. My concern is they now look for metabolism not the actual steer drugs or pain pills etc
Brief Answer:
Drug screen
Detailed Answer:
Drug screens generally look for substances of abuse potential. Diabetes medications are not in that category. They are medicinal agents used for the treatment of a common, chronic condition affecting millions of people worldwide.
Diabetes medicines do not have any addiction potential either. Even the metabolites of these medications are not known to mimic commonly abused drugs. So you should not be concerned about any false positive reports.
