This might be a newbie question, but I and my girlfriend were playing around and suddenly i felt like penetrating her. After a couple of humps I took my penis out and we started having non penetrative sex. She noticed a few drops of precum on my penis head and she is now wondering if she has a chance of getting pregnant which we do not want to. I hadnt had cum for around 6hours previously and she is 12days away from her periods. Could you please advise us if we should take contraceptive pills?

In my view it is advisable to take emergency contraception to avoid pregnancy as there is chance of getting pregnant.
The opinion is based on the fact that generally ovulation occurs around 14 days from the expected next period and ovum have life of 48-72 hours. As she is 12 days away from her periods there is chance that she was in fertile period at the time of penetrative sex.
On the other hand precum have enough sperms to make a women pregnant.
