Hi,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
I had gone through your question.
I can understand your concern.
The bleeding could be due infection. During infection ear will be congested, so even simple cleaning or sometimes without cleaning also blood stained discharge could be seen. Nothing to worry.
Your doctor must have already put you on empirical antibiotics.
He has also sent pus for culture and sensitivity. You need to see him after the culture report.
You must avoid water activities like swimming.
While taking bath also see that water does not enter the ear.
Avoid smoking, refrigerated foods.
Bleeding usually subside on its own.
Analgesic like tablet ibuprofen for pain relief.
You will be fine.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any questions, I am happy to help.
Wish you a good health and speedy recovery.

Dr Paparaja S MBBS MS
